Here's the deal. I know sins have three ways of attacking, don't they?

There's the single attack.
There's the dual strike, which is like one attack, but then a quick attack with your other blade right after.
And then there's that attack where you hit a foe with both of your weapons at the same, 'causing two sets of damage.

Right? Right?

Well, after modding my weapon, I can't seem to land any attacks where I hit with both of my knives at the same time. What the heck is going on?

I've already read through my old mods and new mods, but nothing affects this.

The way i remember it is that:

Single attack, just a general attack
Dual Strike a normal attack where you hit twice instead of once
Dual Attack Third attack in the combo (daggers guaranteed hit twice)

Using attack skills you cannot get a dual strike. Dunno if you misunderstood something, or if ur games bugging, just hope this helps.

Oh yes, I know about the skills thing.

I just can't seem to do the 'dual attack third' thing anymore since I modded my weapon earlier today. It's strange.

But thank you. I really hope that my game is bugging and that it fixes itself soon... :[

In response to your title, it all depends on what sin you are doing.

Personally I don't think there is anything wrong with any sin.

I'm a fan of all of them. Especially lust....mmm.yes........

Ok, so I'm sure this pun has been played to death. So sue me!

Jerks!

It might. You have 7 choices: Lust, Wrath, Greed, Sloth,Envy, Pride, Gluttony.

As I mentioned, nothing wrong with lust.
Wrath - do you run in wanting to kill everything?
Greed - do you bite off more than you can chew?
Sloth - Are you lazy when you play?
Envy - Are you jealous of someone else?
Pride - Do you overly brag about your sin?
Gluttony - Take more than you should?

All legitamite questions that any GW player can ask themselves when having problems playing the game. Am I right?

Lead Attack, Off-Hand Attack, Dual Attack. As the names suggest, Dual Attack always hits twice. If you're not landing your Dual Attacks you might want to make sure your build supports "marking" your opponent for it. When Assassins attack, you get different symbols on the foe's health bar.

[Unsuspecting Strike][Fox Fangs][Twisting Fangs]

Notice how on the top right of the icon for Unsuspecting there's a little slash? This will appear on your target when you've successfully landed a "lead" attack. The same icon is on the top left of Fox Fangs, meaning that Fox Fangs requires the foe to be marked by a successful lead attack in order to be successful itself. Fox Fangs also has the Offhand Attack symbol on the top right which will appear on the target's health bar when you've successfully landed an Offhand. Finally, your Dual Attack has the Offhand mark on the top left signifying that it requires that to be successful.

It sounds complicated, but if you're not landing Dual Attacks that's probably why -- you don't have skills that allow it to be successful. Make sure you READ skill descriptions and make sure your skills satisfy "conditionals" like "Must follow a LEAD/OFFHAND" attack.

Hope it helps.
